Replacement wheel bearing thrust washer for the hub nut, fitted between the outer wheel bearing and the hub nut. Its job is to spread the load from the hub nut evenly across the bearing, helping the wheel bearing sit correctly and allowing the hub to be adjusted without damaging the bearing face.On aircooled VW and Porsche models this washer is normally used on the front outer wheel bearing. On watercooled VW models it is normally used on the rear outer wheel bearing.
