For other users, here is a bit more info: Some Jeep, Ram, Kia, Hyundai, BMW, and Mercedes Benz could give a similar “Error”, which only happens when the engine is running. Why is this happening?: because the computer is reading a lower than halogen wattage consumption, then it decides to turn the light off. Quickest fix: add an extra set of decoders. Deeper, long-term fix: Tell the computer that now the car is using LED bulbs, this is accomplished by software, OBD2 connector, and some vehicles like RAM 2018 , Jeep Wrangler 2018 , and Gladiator 2018 will need an extra OBD2 bypass cable for the software to write the code.
