PUL laminated bamboo is a stretchy, absorbent fabric that we offer in natural white and black. This material absorbs liquids and prevents them from seeping through to the wrong side of the fabric thanks to the waterproof layer. At the same time, the fabric feels pleasantly soft and is totally unobtrusive. The absorbent, liquid-absorbing fabric made from 70% viscose (bamboo) and 30% cotton with a PUL layer is washable at 60 degrees. (PUL = polyurethane laminate, a thin, water-repellent layer that is bonded to the fabric). The material is easy to cut and sew. It is stretchy, very pleasant on the skin and you can't feel or hear the film layer, i.e. the finished cushions, panties or mattress toppers don't rustle like some other materials do.
