Ball baffles act as a honeycomb system which break down liquid waves, preventing surges when a tank is in motion. The reduction of liquid movement within a tank improves the load stability, giving the driver greater control of the vehicle. When braking or changing directions any liquid load is at risk of liquid surge which can result in a rollover situation. Having a ball baffle system installed will significantly reduce these risks and provide safer operation of your vehicle. Our baffles can be used in a variety of tanks with water, diesel and compatible liquids. They are manufactured from a food grade quality material and suitable for potable water. At a minimum, we recommend for them to be fitted to tanks exceeding 500 litres. Did you know, baffle systems are a requirement for cartage tankers on mine sites and in council fleets. Baffles are easily installed in new or existing tanks. Each one is a hollow sphere assembled with a quick click, twist and clip action and simply placed inside the tank.
