The Tupolev Tu-2S was a twin engine, high speed day bomber used by the Russian Army in World War II. This 30 inch wingspan rubber powered Flying Scale model by long time Flying Aces Club (FAC) designer and flyer Octavian Aldea is accurate and very detailed. With excellent proportions for a free flight scale twin, lightweight construction and 25 FAC Scale bonus points, this fine flying Tupolev is a rewarding modeling project. This model can be very competitive in Flying Aces Club (FAC) events. The large format construction plan is professionally drawn with a top shelf CAD program and presents all of the necessary layouts, perspective drawings and information to build a lightweight, accurate and highly detailed flying model. A lot of free flight twin expertise is baked into this design. The counter-rotating “out at the top” propeller design is one case in point. The documentation package included with purchase of the digital plan download includes a detailed scale 3 view, photos of the prototype model under construction, and color photos of the aircraft modeled. Qualifies to fly in FAC Scale and World War II mass launch events.
