I like that this aerator is very compact, measures about 2.75″x1.25″x1.25″, making it easy carry out on the ice or tuck away on board a kayak. However I’ve only used it once so far after recently purchasing it, indoors in my marine aquarium for half a day when the power went out all around town. It is definitely very quiet and I forgot it was even going. The airstone is weighted so it stays on the bottom without need of additional weight, and it puts out a ton of tiny bubbles. It has a USB power connection, so it works well with the Norsk lithium batteries which have a couple USB ports. This aerator won’t work with other types of batteries that don’t have a USB port, but that’s okay with me since I’m a huge fan of the super light weight Norsk lithium batteries. I can’t wait to start using this aerator for actual fishing and see how it holds up long term.
